The Mr B’s Emporium of Reading Delights ‘Paperback Ramblers’ walking book group walk Bath’s Uncomfortable Past, a historic walking route developed by Christina Horvath, Ben Van Praag and students from University of Bath Vertically Integrated Projects.

Discuss the city’s complex links to transatlantic slavery and the unheard stories of abolitionists and enslaved people.

This walk around the city provides an opportunity to meet fellow readers and discuss a selection of books on this fascinating, live subject.

Suggested reading list here – but you don’t have to have read them to enjoy the walk.

The walk is timed so that people can join during their lunch break (with a bit of flexibility!)
