We are delighted to be physically linking up the Somer Valley Walking Festival and Bathscape Walking Festival with this 11.5 mile linear walk.  This has been an ambition of ours since the Festivals started!

The walk follows a beautiful section of the Limestone Link path, which is a long distance trail between the Mendip Hills and the Cotswolds. We will be following the route of the Somersetshire Coal Canal for much of the route and there will be chances to see abandoned locks and bridges along the way, plus the section of canal that has been re-watered at Paulton.

The walk will take us past the coal batches at Dunkerton and Camerton – reminders of the industrial past of this now tranquil area. There will be plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife as we pass through meadows, woodlands and walk alongside the Cam Brook.

***included in the walk is a minibus back to Paulton***
