Climb to the summit of Little Solsbury Hill, for views over Bath and the Avon valley. Then through a “wild wood” before dropping down to the Wessex Water Nature Reserve and a gentle climb back to the start.

This walk is 3.5 miles and takes about 2.5 hours, with some steep sections.  When we went, the walk was led by Cotswold AONB Voluntary Wardens, who run regular guided walks in the area.

Start and finish at the lay by on the slip road for Upper Swainswick off the A46.

A full map of the route will be up soon.
