Variety is the keynote of this walk, which follows green corridors to demonstrate how much countryside can be found on the edge of the city. We start by heading through Royal Victoria Park and across High Common, before following footpaths and field paths to the village of Weston. After exploring the village, we head back along roads lined by grand Victorian villas to visit the Great Dell and Botanical Gardens in Royal Victoria Park. From there, we drop down to Western Riverside to follow the riverside path, through a landscape being transformed beyond recognition, back to the city centre.
